2. Escape the rain in one of Ljubljana’s many museums.
A trip to the Museum of Architecture and Design is a trip in itself. Located 'off-the-beaten-track in Fužine Castle (with a cute cafe), it is the home of BIO26 - the 26th Biennial of Design. Under the motto Common Knowledge, it tackles the information crisis. .
3. Visit the Maximarket in the Trg republike area.
Maximarket was the first department store with a notable offering in Slovenia, and provides a respite from the rain and a chance for some retail therapy. As a place that offers shopping, food, drink and a place to relax, it could be the perfect spot to wait for the rain to pass. Try the Club on the first floor where you can also rent a tablet for free or the newly renovated Gourmet Market in the basemenet.
4. Try 'Sekiromet™'.
Sekiro.. what? If bowling is not your thing, try axe throwing :) That’s right! The most Instagrammable game that has completely rocked Canada and the US has arrived to Ljubljana! This fun indoor game allows up to six players to throw yes - an axe - at one target. Don't worry - is supervised by experts and completely safe.
5. Buy an umbrella
and call Tom for a special ‘Rainy day extravaganza’. He’s British so he’s used to rain.
